Joe Jacksons described his seventh studio album "Body and Soul" from 1984 as a tribute to the jazz saxophonist Sonny Rollins. He deliberately had the cover designed to look confusingly similar

- which would later lead Rolling Stone magazine to accuse him of copyism. The jazzy follow-up to "Night and Day" features two of Jackson's most popular tracks, "You Can't Get What You Want

(Till You Know What You Want)" and "Be My Number Two.""Body and Soul" is also a landmark early digital recording, recorded on a 32-track 3M system at the Masonic Lodge in New York City.

The original PCM digital files were converted to DSD by Kevin Gray at CoHEARent Audio. The result is a full, three-dimensional spatial imaging and a very dynamic band.
