The Italian pianist Maurizio Pollini worked with Deutsche Grammophon for decades and continued to thrill the classical music world with his extraordinary skills until his death in March 2024.

The Piano Concerto No. 1 was recorded in December 1973 under the baton of Karl Böhm, the Piano Concerto No. 2 in May 1976 under the baton of Claudio Abbado in the Great Hall of the Vienna Musikverein.
