On their fourth album, 'Burnin' Sky', released in March 1977, Bad Company remained true to their blues rock roots: Paul Rodgers' soulful, powerful vocals continued to lead the way,
while the band's raw, guitar-driven sound was perfected and gained in maturity. The 12 songs were recorded in France at Studio Château d'Hérouville – under the producer wing of the
later Rolling Stones engineer Chris Kimsey – where David Bowie recorded “Low” later that same year. The title track of the LP quickly became a hit single, and the album reached number
15 on the Billboard 200 charts. In the UK, “Burnin' Sky” also entered the Top 20 of the album charts. To mark the 75th anniversary of Atlantic Records, Analogue Productions is now honoring
this timeless chart classic with a sonically stunning new edition: cut at 45 RPM and pressed at Quality Record Pressings, the 180-gram double LP comes in a tip-on old style gatefold double
pocket jacket… of course by Stoughton Printing.
