Janos Starker & Gyorgy Sebok - Bartok/Mendelssohn/Martinu/Debussy/Chopin/Weiner / Analogphonic

Janos Starker recorded some of the works on this release in the early years of his career, but the difference in quality has increased enormously on this recording, as the cellist has dispensed with the 'echo chamber'

recording method. Starker recorded the first four tracks at Watford Town Hall near London, and tracks 5 to 12 at Ballroom Studio A of Fine Recording Studios in New York City. The cello legend is accompanied by a

strong partner on the piano: Gyorgy Sebok. The remastering for the Analogphonic re-release was done by Rainer Maillard at the Emil Berliner Studios.
