Gert Palmcrantz's recording from Stockholm's Jazzpuben Stampen, made on December 6 and 7, 1976, is an audiophile perennial favorite. The recording for Proprius Records is one of the best-sounding jazz

recordings of the 20th century and has already been reissued by various labels in different formats.

The Canadian label 2xHD now joins this series with its double LP set. Remastered by René Laflamme on Nagra equipment and cut at Bernie Grundman Mastering for the vinyl pressing, "Jazz at the Pawnshop" appears

on two 200-gram vinyl discs with 33 1/3 rpm.
