John Coltrane, Red Garland, Paul Chambers and Philly Joe Jones. Jazz connoisseurs see this line-up as the cornerstone of the later BlueNote Records house sound, and yet the blues influence

was surprising. The album became famous for the introduction of modal moods into jazz on the eponymous track "Milestones".

The numbered 180 gram LP is pressed on extra-quiet SuperVinyl for a special audiophile pleasure. The remastering for Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab was done by Krieg Wunderlich.
