the best sounding tapes. Several sets of tapes, including tape copies from the 1970s, were sent for mastering and evaluated by Buettner and mastering pro Chris Bellman.The best tapes are 1/2″ safety

copies from the A&M safety programme of the 1990s. They sound sensational, dynamic, detailed and alive. Combined with Chris Bellman's work at the mixing desk and the superb mastering chain at Bernie
