Sara K. - Hobo (One Step) / Chesky

Hobo", Sara K.'s fourth album for Chesky Records, is considered by many to be one of her best releases. "Hobo" combines the acoustic down-to-earthness of folk with the harmonic subtlety of jazz,

the earthy fire of the blues and the confessional lyricism of the singer/songwriter. Born in Dallas, USA, Sara was able to achieve one of the biggest sales successes of her career with "Hobo".

In the 12 songs about love and life itself, Sara's wide vocal range of timbres and emotions comes into its own. In addition to the wonderfully meditative title track, highlights of the album include "Brick House",

an acoustic cover of the 1977 mega-hit by the Commodores, and "Oh Well" by the great Fleetwood Mac.

The normal process is you plate the lacquer to create what is known as a father. The lacquer is removed from the lacquer and used as a mold to create mothers.

You can create multiple mothers from a single father. The mother is used as mold to create the stamper plate which is called a matrix. This is 3 step process. Father -> Mother -> Stamper.

On "ONE STEP VINYL" skips the last 2 steps. The father is directly used as the stamper.
