Aidas Cartidges - Baby African Blackwood Cartridge

The Art of Analog Reproduction

The Aidas Cartridges Baby African Blackwood is a pinnacle achievement in the Gold PL series, embodying the ultimate harmony between natural materials and advanced engineering. The cartridge body is crafted from select African Blackwood (Gabon), a material renowned for its exceptional vibration-damping properties. This choice is deliberate, as the management of micro-vibrations is critical for eliminating colorations and achieving a sound characterized by absolute clarity and naturalness.

Gold-Plated Coils for Musical Fullness

At the heart of the Baby African Blackwood are specially designed 24kt gold-plated copper coils. The use of gold in the winding offers a unique sonic signature, combining warmth and musicality with impressive detail and transparency. Unlike conventional coils, Aidas' gold-plated technology allows the cartridge to deliver high frequencies with unparalleled smoothness, avoiding listener fatigue and highlighting the finest harmonic details of the recording.

Precision and Cutting-Edge Technology

The cartridge is equipped with an advanced Namiki / Adamant Boron cantilever and a MicroRidge diamond stylus, ensuring top-tier tracking ability and groove retrieval. The use of an AlNiCo5 magnetic system combined with the double suspension structure devised by Aidas Svazas allows the cartridge to maintain absolute geometric precision even during the most demanding passages. The result is a soundstage with depth, width, and precise instrument placement.

Designed for the Audiophile

The Baby African Blackwood is not just a component, but a tool of musical expression aimed at the most demanding vinyl enthusiasts.
