Hugh Masekela - Hope / 2LP Analogue Productions

This recording by South African trumpeter Hugh Masekela is probably one of the most frequently heard demonstration discs at hi-fi events.

For "Hope", Masekela put together a seven-piece band with whom he recorded this live set in the Washington jazz club "Blues Alley". Together

they play songs from almost fifty years of musicianship and give you goose bumps.
