The U.S. singer Peggy Lee mostly moved between jazz and pop, but "Is That All There Is?" has clear rock influences (appropriate to the time). Nevertheless, she remained true to herself
and lined up musical pearl after pearl. The 1969 album was her biggest success; moreover, the title song of the same name earned Lee a Grammy for Best Contemporary Vocal Performance.
The recording took place in the famous "Capitol Tower Studios" in Hollywood.
