"Sparkle and Fade" from 1995 was the second album of the band Everclear and their first with the label Capitol Records. Gary Gersh, who had already signed Nirvana, Sonic Youth and the Counting Crows to DGC Records,
was responsible for the record deal. While the first single "Heroin Girl" played on MTV but otherwise remained largely under the mainstream radar, the second single "Santa Monica" became a hit.The remastering for Intervention
Records was done by Kevin Gray. The 33 1/3 rpm LP was pressed on 180-gram vinyl and comes in a sturdy gatefold cover.
We recommend the use of "L'Art du Son" LP cleaner to wet wash your vinyl. Even new records of high quality production will benefit from this.
