Stan Getz and Joao Gilberto are an unlikely pair. The New York son of Ukrainian immigrants Getz and the Brazilian Gilberto nevertheless brought

within a short time a phenomenon that until then had been little represented in the charts right to the front. Later, this period would be called the Bossa

Nova craze, and this was undoubtedly its peak. The hit The Girl from Ipanema alone is worth the purchase price. This version is the first since about 1980,

which represents right / left again as the original tape.
