“Deusa” was recorded on March 6 and 7, 2025, at Atlantis Studios in Stockholm. If you’ve never heard of this recording studio, you’ve missed out on a piece of music history, because this is where the legendary band ABBA recorded all their

hits – at least until 1978, when they opened Polar Studio. But it gets even better, because “Deusa” was recorded live, on 2-track 1/4-inch tape – no safety net. That means: no cuts, no overdubs. The mastermind behind this fantastic recording

is a true giant, whose name will immediately catch the attention of many audiophiles: The producer is none other than Gert Palmcrantz, who was responsible for the production of the world-famous 1976 album “Jazz At The Pawnshop.” With “Deusa,

” Palmcrantz delivers a prime example of the open and dynamic sound that only a fully analog recording can achieve. The combination of the direct recording process and the distinctive sound of the Atlantis Studio – familiar from ABBA’s songs – is

simply magical! With “Deusa,” the Sthlm Bossanova Quartet captures the timeless flow of Brazilian bossa nova with the utmost presence and authenticity!

We are delighted to offer “Deusa” exclusively for Europe. The LP, limited to 500 copies and hand-numbered, was pressed at Pallas in Germany on 180-gram vinyl and cut at 33 RPM. Figaro Music is a Swedish label specializing in high-quality analog

recordings, primarily active in the field of acoustic music and working with very exclusive equipment. These are predominantly 2-channel recordings, made directly onto ¼-inch tape.
