Eagles – The Long Run / MFSL

The sixth studio album of the Eagles was released in 1979. Three years had passed by then since its predecessor "Hotel California", the first breakup of the U.S. rock band followed

a few months later after fierce personal disputes. While the reviews of "The Long Run" were negative, the album made it to the 1st place of the US album charts for the fourth time in

a row thanks to the public. The single "Heartache Tonight" was awarded the Grammy in the category "Best Rock Performance".The hybrid SACD is released in a mini LP cover in a

 numbered edition. Sound-wise, it scores with spectacular dynamics and enormous attention to detail. Songs like "I Can't Tell You Why", "In the City" and "The Long Run" get new

momentum on a wide soundstage.
