The conductor and violinist Emil Telmányi, together with the bow maker Knud Verstergard, developed his own round bow, the so-called Vega Bach bow. This made it possible to
play polyphonic chords on the violin and is used on this recording from 1953/1954. Telmányi plays three sonatas and three partitas by Bach in an outstanding performance. The
remastering for this box of three 180-gram LPs was handled by Rainer Maillard at Emil Berliner Studios. The 33-rpm pressing was done at Pallas in Diepholz.
We recommend the use of "L'Art du Son" LP cleaner to wet wash your vinyl. Even new records of high quality production will benefit from this.
