"Live in Paris 1983" is a rare live recording of Beethoven's Cello Sonata No. 3, performed by icon János Starker and pianist Alain Planès, the cellist's faithful accompanist for many years.
Another treat on this Analogphonic release is Starker's famous performance of Bach's Suite No. 2 in D minor for unaccompanied cello. Recorded in the historic "Studio 104" hall of the Paris
Radio Centre, the recording has long been in the "Ina" collection of the French "Institut National de l'Audiovisuel" and is now being released on vinyl for the first time. The 180-gram LP has been
pressed on Virgin Vinyl in Japan by Toyokasei.
We recommend the use of "L'Art du Son" LP cleaner to wet wash your vinyl. Even new records of high quality production will benefit from this.
