Grace Slick is one of the icons of 1960s pop music. The singer with the deep dark alto voice, who went out in 1970 to pour LSD into Richard Nixon's tea, stepped in with Jefferson Airplane after Signe Toly Anderson left the band.

On "Surrealistic Pillow" she was heard for the first time and produced directly with Marty Balin (guitar, vocals), Paul Kantner (vocals, guitar), Jorma Kaukonen (guitar, vocals), Jack Casady (bass) and Spencer Dryden (drums) the songs

"Somebody to Love" and "White Rabbit", which are inseparable from the band.

The album title "Surrealistic Pillow" is supposedly due to Grateful Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia, who, upon hearing the recordings, commented that the music sounded just as surreal as a pillow. The 180g vinyl double LP with 45 rpm in mono

was remastered by Krieg Wunderlich together with Rob LoVerde for Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab. Limited edition with consecutive serial number.
