New York jazz scene and a leading representative of modern soul jazz, meets the fascinating trio of Italian pianist Massimo Faraò, consisting of Nicola Barbon (bass) and Bobo Facchinetti (drums). Faraò, who has recorded

with artists such as Red Holloway, Albert “Tootie” Heath, Tony Scott, Franco Ambrosetti, Nat Adderley, Jeff Tain Watts, Jack DeJohnette and Chris Potter, quickly made a name for himself with his passionate, stoic-romantic playing

and the rich harmonies he creates. “Grace” was recorded on October 16, 2018, at Riverside Studio in Turin, Italy, and produced, mixed and mastered by legendary sound engineer Tetsuo Hara.

Venus Records was founded in Japan in 1992 by Tetsuo Hara, who previously worked as a producer for RCA Victor. The prestigious label uses a special mastering process called “Hyper Magnum Sound” for the strictly limited double

LP of “Grace”. The records are cut at 33 RPM and pressed on 180-gram vinyl, which produces a powerful, present sound and is highly appreciated by audiophiles worldwide. A quick note: Venus LP reissues are only pressed once!
