Joculatores Upsaliensis - Early Music at Wik / AudioNautes

Fans of medieval and Renaissance music listen up: this Audionautes release features interpretations by the Swedish group "Joculatores Upsalienses", which translates as the "Uppsala Players".

Founded in 1965, the ensemble specialises in researching early music and performs both sacred and secular repertoire.The recordings for "Early Music at Wik" took place in 1973 and '74 in the

medieval Wik Castle, south of Uppsala in Sweden.
