“Court And Spark” is the most commercially successful album in Joni Mitchell's groundbreaking career. It was released just 12 months after her time out in 1973.
The singer-songwriter's sixth album marked Mitchell's increasing turn towards jazz, received four Grammy nominations, was voted the best album of the year in the
renowned Pazz & Jop poll and ranks 110th on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 best albums of all time! With boldness and great empathy, she explores themes related to
love and freedom, certainty and confusion, trust and fear on “Court And Spark”. Guest appearances by David Crosby, Graham Nash and Robbie Robertson complement Mitchell's brilliant performance.
Numbered and limited to 6,000 copies, this one-step 45 rpm double LP, created from the master tapes, presents this 1974 classic with unparalleled detail, tonality and immediacy.
This collector's edition benefits from an incredible transparency and openness, reproducing the textures and details that make 'Court And Spark' what many fans consider to be the Canadian-born artist's finest hour.

The normal process is you plate the lacquer to create what is known as a father. The lacquer is removed from the lacquer and used as a mold to create mothers.
You can create multiple mothers from a single father. The mother is used as mold to create the stamper plate which is called a matrix. This is 3 step process. Father -> Mother -> Stamper.
On "ONE STEP VINYL" skips the last 2 steps. The father is directly used as the stamper.
