Argentine-Swiss pianist Martha Argerich performs what is considered a legendary interpretation of Rachmaninoff's opulent 3rd Piano Concerto with the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin.
Argerich is one of the few living pianists to have mastered this highly complicated yet passionate piece. The live recordings were made in Berlin in 1982 under the baton of Riccardo Chailly,
now music director of La Scala in Milan. The remastering for Analogphonic was done by Sidney Claire Meyer at Emil Berliner Studios.
We recommend the use of "L'Art du Son" LP cleaner to wet wash your vinyl. Even new records of high quality production will benefit from this.
