NAGRA: Audiophile Analog Collection Vol. 1 / 45 RPM 2LP 2xHD

Album History

The Audiophile Analog Collection Vol. 1 is a milestone for high-end audio enthusiasts, gathering some of the most impressive recordings ever made using Nagra equipment. This deluxe 45 RPM double LP edition on 200-gram vinyl offers an unparalleled listening experience, showcasing the art of sound across a wide range of genres, from jazz and blues to classical music and experimental percussion ensembles.

Production & Mastering Quality

The mastering was handled by the legendary René Laflamme, one of the most acclaimed sound engineers in the high-end audio world, in collaboration with 2xHD. The production process is purely analog (AAA), with lacquer cutting performed at Bernie Grundman Mastering on vacuum tube equipment. Every detail, from microphone selection to the playback of the original master tapes, has been meticulously designed to preserve the authenticity and warmth of the analog recording, eliminating any digital corruption.

Aesthetics & Construction

The build quality of the vinyl reflects the high-end nature of the project. The 200-gram weight ensures stability during playback, while the 45 RPM speed allows for greater dynamic range and high-frequency precision. The edition includes an informative booklet, offering the owner a complete experience that combines aesthetic pleasure with the technical excellence demanded by the most discerning audiophiles.

Sonic Experience

Listening to this album transports the listener directly into the recording space. The soundstage is expansive, with excellent separation and natural instrument timbre. Whether it is the sound of the bouzouki, the complexity of percussion, or the depth of the pipe organ, the reproduction is characterized by a sense of 'live' presence. We recommend using L'Art du Son vinyl cleaner to maintain the clarity and resolution of the recording at the highest level.
