Style is not a given, but a level of artistic personality that makes distinctive and wants to be worked out. To achieve this, you need character, soul, a knowledge of your roots. Nathan Davis had style.

His tenor tone was unique. So was his soprano sound and his distinctive approach to the flute. His musical world was equally original and knew no boundaries.

This concert in Paris is audible proof that his fluid phrasing, distinct articulation, booming lower register, growls and screams were driven by tremendous verve and wild inventiveness - the man was on fire!

- Jean Szlamowicz

The set of three LPs on 180-gram vinyl was pressed at Optimal. The gatefold cover features full-page photographs by Jean-Pierre Leloir and liner notes by Jeam Szlamowicz.

We recommend the use of "L'Art du Son" LP cleaner to wet wash your vinyl. Even new records of high quality production will benefit from this.
