The great violinist Nathan Milstein plays together with the Concert Arts Orchestra masterpieces by Mozart, Beethoven, Wieniawski, Novácek, Stravinsky and Saint-Saëns under the baton of Walter Susskind.

The first release of the "Milstein Masterpieces" from 1960 is a valuable collector's item today; but this reissue is absolutely worth listening to and delights with excellent sound quality.
