Peter Frampton began his musical career at Bromley Technical School as a classmate of David Bowie, playing Buddy Holly songs with him during the breaks. In 1969, at the age of 18, he formed the band

Humble Pie with Steve Marriott. After four studio albums and one live album, he left the band to embark on a solo career that has brought him numerous hit singles and eight platinum awards.His solo debut,

Wind of Change, saw Frampton move away from hard rock boogie and open up to more nuanced songwriting and guitar playing. It's a Plain Shame", "All I Wanna Be (is by your side)" and a cover of the Stones'

classic Jumping Jack Flash". This contrasts with the harmonious melodies of the title track or the elegiac 'Fig Tree Bay'."Wind of Change was a promising and stirring debut that launched Frampton's solo career

and paved the way for his unstoppable rise to superstardom. The album has been remastered by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering.
