Spooky. Beguiling. These are the words critics have used to describe the melodic, psychedelic sound of The Doors. Many of the songs on "Strange Days" were written around the same time as the tracks for

the band's debut album. A mixture of oriental music, classical and pop that produced hits such as "Love Me Two Times" and "People Are Strange". Rolling Stone magazine wrote of the album that it had the

power and energy of the first LP, but was more subtle, complex and therefore more enduring.
