Mezzo-soprano Cecilia Bartoli's 1999 Vivaldi album sold millions of copies and was a milestone in her career. It was instrumental in reviving interest in the operas of the Italian baroque composer.
The recording was made in July 1999 in the Stefaniensaal at Congress Graz under the direction of sound engineer Jonathan Stokes. Bartoli is accompanied by the chamber orchestra Il Giardino
Armonico, renowned for its historical performance practice, and the Vienna Arnold Schönberg Choir.
We recommend the use of "L'Art du Son" LP cleaner to wet wash your vinyl. Even new records of high quality production will benefit from this.
