Analogue Productions has informed us that the eight-LP sampler, which contains the best tracks by the US rock band led by mastermind John Fogerty, will be released for the very last time! So hurry up, we expect the box

set to sell out quickly, especially since AP has gone to great lengths for this reissue. The legendary sound engineers Kevin Gray & Steve Hoffman were commissioned to remaster the original tapes for the records, which

were cut at 45 RPM and pressed on 180-gram vinyl by Quality Record Pressings. The result far surpasses the 2004 edition, which was praised by Wayne Garcia (The Absolute Sound), Richard Foster (Hi-Fi+), Art Dudley

(Stereophile) and other renowned audio reviewers: with so few songs on each side (four LPs contain only one song per side), “The CCR Box Set: Absolute Originals” sounds better than ever before!

The greatest hits from each album (packaged in replicas of the original sleeves) are accompanied by detailed liner notes by rock critic Ben Fong-Torres (Rolling Stone) and photos by Baron Wolman and Didi Zill, the two CCR

documentarians. The box also includes an informative essay by Steve Hoffman, who lovingly remastered these gems at AcousTech Mastering together with Kevin Gray. A bonus LP with rare “Wide Stereo Mixes” of “Bad Moon Rising”
