Released in 1983, Rock 'n Soul Part 1 is a compilation of the greatest hits to date from the pop duo Hall & Oates. Not a difficult task, as the two musicians were at the height of their career in the early 1980s.

The 'best of' material is taken from the 'Voices', 'Private Eyes' and 'H2O' albums, including 'Kiss on My List', 'You Make My Dreams', 'Private Eyes', 'I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)', 'Maneater' and 'One on One'.

Later compilations may cover the whole of Hall & Oates' career, but Rock 'n Soul is the icing on the cake. Krieg Wunderlich remastered the 180g vinyl LP for Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab. Limited edition with serial numbering.
