Jazz on Vinyl is the project of busy label owner Dominique Klatte. The dedicated sound engineer has been releasing pure analogue jazz albums without any digital technology in the signal path since 2017.

Always in search of the optimal analogue sound experience and with a love of detail, Klatte produces recordings that score with great liveliness and make no compromises from an audiophile point of view.

He sometimes uses a parish hall, living room or the library in his home town of Erding as recording locations.

The record magazine MINT gave a direct verdict on the first title in the series, Jazz on Vinyl Vol. 1: ‘As a test balloon, Vol. 1 is convincing over a long distance: the vinyl is excellently processed, the sound is

bright, dynamic and probably close to a live performance in the middle of the room.’
