Blues singer Jimmy Witherspoon, or simply known as "Spoon", recorded the album "Evenin' Blues" together with none other than "T-Bone" Walker, the father of the electric blues guitar.
The session was recorded in Los Angeles on August 15, 1963, and the combo also includes saxophonist Clifford Scott, known for his distinctive solos (including on Bill Doggett's "Honky Tonk").
Bert Kendrix on organ directly opens the first legendary track: Charles Brown's "Money's Gettin' Cheaper." Other musicians are Clarence Jones on bass and Wayne Robertson on drums.
