The US folk singer Livingston Taylor comes from a musical family. His brother James played his way to the top of the international charts and his sister Kate and brother Alex also released several records.
Although Livingston Taylor did not achieve the same fame as James, several of his singles became hits and he recorded more than a dozen albums. In addition, he was a successful lecturer at Berklee College
of Music in Boston. After several releases, most recently with Sony Records, Livingston Taylor began his collaboration with David and Norman Chesky for the Chesky Records label in 1993. "Good Friends" is a
selection of tracks from previous albums, recorded by a musician in top form. The Chesky brothers' excellent recording with mastering engineer Bob Katz is a prime example of audiophile music releases: Pure,
natural sound with outstanding vocal presence. "Good Friends" gives the feeling of being in an intimate living room concert. This disc will not disappoint.
The LP with 33 1/3 rpm is released in limited edition. The first 500 copies are consecutively numbered. The mastering was done by Scott Hull in the studios of Masterdisk, New York.
We recommend the use of "L'Art du Son" LP cleaner to wet wash your vinyl. Even new records of high quality production will benefit from this.
