because the live versions not only sound distinctly different from the perfectly produced studio numbers, but also have a drive and urgency that these easily lack. The anthemic "I Will Remember

You" has never sounded so haunting, "Ice Cream" has never sounded so good-humored, and at the opening piano chords of "Angel" you can hear the audience first shriek and then sink into the

depths of the music.The remastering for Analogue Productions clearly adds value over the almost nervous version of Bernie Grundmann's original mastering in comparison. There is warmth and

space in the sound image and the sometimes exhausting restlessness on high quality equipment is banished.
